Stella Tselepi is an accessibility and universal design consultant, with a background in architecture and urban design. She is the founder of eftopia, a Universal Design studio dedicated to advancing equitable, inclusive, and human-centered environments, a Universal Design studio dedicated to advancing equitable, inclusive, and human-centered environments.

Based between Montreal and Athens, she works across English, French, and Greek contexts and collaborations.

Her approach to the built environment is shaped by a dual perspective, both professional and lived experience. This dual lens informs a deep understanding of accessibility, autonomy, and the way space is experienced across different bodies, abilities, and contexts.

This understanding was further developed through academic training in architecture and urban design, as well as engagement in community-based initiatives focused on inclusive and socially engaged environments, which continue to inform her awareness of people’s needs. Across both studies and practice, she has consistently explored how environments shape, and are shaped by, diverse human experiences.

Together, these perspectives form the foundation of her work: a commitment to more inclusive, equitable, and human-centered approaches to design.
